Who we are.

This website is managed by the Floyd Hill Area Property Owners Association (FHAPOA), a voluntary organization of homeowners working together to protect and enhance the quality of life in our mountain community.

Our Mission

"To take a proactive interest in the welfare, education, and civic matters of the property owners and residents..." — this is our guiding purpose, as outlined in our by-laws.

Floyd Hill is home to a diverse and dedicated group of residents who value the beauty, independence, and peace of mountain living. Our HOA exists to help preserve these values by fostering a strong sense of community, advocating for responsible development, and addressing the unique challenges of life at elevation.

Our 2026 Priorities

In 2026, FHAPOA continues to focus on the priorities that matter most to our community:

  • Fire Mitigation: Supporting residents with information, resources, and neighborhood coordination to reduce wildfire risk.

  • Community Building: Organizing events, sharing important updates, and strengthening neighborhood connections.

  • Road Maintenance: Collaborating with county officials to promote safe, year-round access and infrastructure upkeep.

We remain actively engaged in monitoring local development, water rights, land use issues, and public policy decisions that affect our homes and environment. Our presence ensures that the voices of Floyd Hill residents are heard and respected.

Get Involved

Much of our work is carried out by volunteers, but some of our essential efforts require financial support. The $35 annual membership dues fund everything from communication tools to fire safety programs.

We invite you to join or renew your membership for 2026 and help us continue these important efforts. Your involvement and support are what make Floyd Hill not just a location—but a community.
